in the mood…

Here are a selection of mood boards I’ve created for various clients to help them bring their style to life. Getting in touch with a designer before you start on this journey is critical in ensuring you get a space that not only looks beautiful but best suits the daily needs of those inhabiting the space.

Narrowing down your personal style is one of the first things you need to do before buying any new furnishings. It’s easy to get swept up with the latest trends because you’re constantly being bombarded with similar items in your feed and in stores. Finding out what your own style is, and that of your house (this can have a big impact) will help you narrow down your options and put back what isn’t right. Noone gravitates to just one style whether it’s retro or scandi, vintage or industrial. We usually have one strongest preference, with another two sprikled into the mix. This gets even more challenging when you’re mixing in a partner and their aesthetic. I really enjoy working with couples and blending their taste so both are represented in the home and feel comfortable in the space.
