Building your dream home
Tackling a new build can be one of the most exciting and daunting experiences of your life. If you’re taking on a new build on your own its incredibly common to feel overwhelmed with the sheer number of decisions that need to be made. Working with Candace will streamline the process and take the weight of innumerable decisions off your shoulders. She’ll work with you to determine your design aesthetic and ensure the fixtures and fittings you’re choosing will be cohesive, not only throughout your home, but with your style.
With several new builds currently in various stages of completion there will be plenty of design pretty coming to this page but for now scroll down to see a few completed projects…
bold industraial vibes bring character to a new build
These homeowners were so much fun to work with! They didn’t look at me like I had two heads when I suggested tartan carpet for their media room, which I thought they might, but got excited and jumped on board! Chris, a sparky by trade, had definite ideas on how he wanted their home to look and feel. The challenge was bringing some softness to contrast the industrial vibes which was done with timber elements, as well as copper accents, and even a couple of floral wall murals! The end result is a bold family home that reflects the people who live in it.
Hāwera Home - sophistication meets fun
It was such a pleasure to work with these clients on their new build, they had a fun mid-centuary leaning style and weren’t afraid to use colour mixed in with bold black and white. The patterned peach tiles in their bathroom are an all time fav of mine, and I love some of the retro geometric accents we incorporated like the kitchen lights and laundry splashback. Keeping colour, shape and textures repeating throughout the home allowed us to play with the spaces while keeping a cohesive vibe throughout the home. See the gallery below for more images of this stunning home.
This ensuite (pictured below) is still one of my favourite rooms to date and even featured in Trends Magainze online, you can check out the feature here.
